Tom being an independent candidate means he has accepted zero (0) money from any political action committee and owes no one anything [except the voters] and is therefore FREE to make EVERY decision the "right one". By right one he means if one can imagine a concept like the public interest or general interest or general welfare - that. Not private interests, not narrow interests, just what is good overall for our community without favoritism or favor to campaign donors.

This is UNLIKE EVERY OTHER candidate running [period].
